At Online Austin, we take pride in delivering high-quality online courses designed to help students succeed in IELTS, PTE, and Duolingo tests.
However, we understand that specific situations may arise where a refund is necessary. This policy outlines the clear and transparent terms under which refunds will be granted or denied. We advise all students to read the course description and view any free preview lessons before making a purchase.
1. Eligibility for Refund
Refunds are not automatic. We do not offer a "no questions asked" refund policy due to the digital nature of our content. Refunds may be issued only under the following strict conditions:
Refund Approved If:
- The refund request is submitted within 3 calendar days of the original purchase date.
- You have not started or accessed the course content (our logs must show 0% progress).
- You made a duplicate purchase for the same course by mistake.
- There is a verified technical issue on our side that prevents you from accessing the course, and our support team is unable to resolve it within 48 hours.
2. Non-Refundable Scenarios
We cannot offer refunds if any of the following apply:
Refund Denied If:
- You have already accessed, viewed, or downloaded any lessons, videos, or practice tests.
- The course was purchased under a discounted, promotional, or bundle offer.
- The issue arises from your own device, internet connection speed, or browser incompatibility.
- You request a refund based on "change of mind" or "personal preference" after starting the course.
3. How to Request a Refund
To initiate a return request, please follow these steps strictly:
Submit Official Request
Email our billing team at info@onlineaustin.co with the subject line "Refund Request - [Your Name]".
Required Details: Full Name, Registered Email, Mobile Number, and Payment Proof (Screenshot/Transaction ID).
Our team will cross-check your account logs to verify your course activity and eligibility. You will receive an official confirmation or update within 3–5 business days.
4. Refund Process & Timeline
If your refund request is approved:
- Original Method: Refunds will be credited back to your original payment method (eSewa, Khalti, or Bank Transfer). We cannot refund to a different account for security reasons.
- Timeline: Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take 5–7 business days for the funds to reflect in your statement after we process it.
- Administrative Fee: In some cases, a small administrative or gateway processing fee (approx 2-3%) may be deducted from the total refund amount.
5. Course Replacement Option
If you selected the wrong course by mistake (e.g., you bought IELTS Academic but needed General Training), you do not need to cancel.
You may choose to transfer your payment to the correct course within 7 days of purchase. Contact our support team immediately, and we will adjust your enrollment. If there is a price difference, you will either pay the extra or receive a credit for the difference.
